BOOBA STARR SCORES ON #IFETOP10 WITH ‘I WILL NEVER’

Dane Salmon aka Booba Starr, a Kingston native, has been on the music scene for quite some time, building a solid catalog of quality, dancehall, roots, and culture singles. Rooted in consciousness the influence of his icons, Bob Marley and the Wailers, can be heard through his music, with a mixture of today’s contemporary reggae style along with influences of the 80s, 90s.

Booba Starr’s professional career launched in 2010 when he was introduced to Trevor “TC” Clarke, producer and owner of Jafrika Records, who produced his first single ‘Things Change’. During that period Booba Starr also worked with other producers and labels. In 2011, he launched his own recording studio and recorded independently. Booba Starr has also worked with fellow artist, Indecka, on collaborations with Austrian record label, Lyrical War Records. Other single releases by Booba Starr includes ‘Roll Out‘ on the Bomb Weh Riddim, ‘Neva Easy’, ‘Prison Neva Mek fi Dawg’ and ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’.

Currently, Booba Starr is the voter’s choice winner of the IFE TOP 10 voting program, positioned at #6 on the IFE TOP 10 Charts with the single ‘I Will Never’.
